Hi! I'm Paulo Ferreira

I’m a designer from Brazil 🇧🇷(hot!) living in Canada 🇨🇦 (cold, very cold...).

With a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Communications and a post-graduation in Marketing Management, both in Brazil, I have training in Advertising, Graphic Design, Art and Creative Direction. Also have a Digital Media Design Diploma from Red River College, where I graduated with Honours in 2019.

Working for over 15 years in full-size advertising agencies I have an extensive experience on a wide range of projects such as printing and online ads, editorial design, logo and package design, brand identity and other specific visuals. I also coordinated creative teams to develop brand identities and advertising campaigns.

Here in Canada, I worked as Creative Director at the Winnipeg Free Press and the Brandish Agency as Manager of Design Services, leading a team of designers to build consistent, creative and outstanding brands and campaigns. Fostering a culture of mentorship, collaboration and design excellence. Project management and workflow, capacity reporting and resourcing are also areas where I thrive.

Most recently I worked as Creative Services Manager at Lighthouse Labs, a Canadian tech bootcamp, from January to December 2023 and I'm currently at Lee Valley Tools, as Marketing Programs Specialist within the project management team.
